Take a Sunset Stroll Along the Henderson Waves

Spanning 274 metres between two lush green parks, the Henderson Waves bridge is a beautiful structure that mimics the shape of undulating waves. This is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore at 36 metres above the ground, so it’s a great spot to soak up views of the city and trees. Grab your partner and stroll along the bridge around sunset time to see the sky fade from pastel shades into deep blue. After dark, the bridge is illuminated in romantic LED lights.

You and your sweetheart can play Gatsby and Daisy as you sip on craft cocktails and snack on refined bar bites. They also do full lunch and dinner service with dishes like oyster mignonette, steak frites, and luscious panna cotta.

Discover Hidden Beaches

When most people set out for a beach day in Singapore, they head to Siloso Beach or Palawan Beach on Sentosa Island. However if you want to avoid the crowds, there are plenty of deserted beaches nearby that make for a great romantic day trip. St. John’s Island is just a 15-minute boat ride away and has pretty stretches of sand that you might just get all to yourself. Cross the bridge to tiny Lazarus Island and you’ll find a beautiful white sand beach that fringes clear waters.
