Gucci and Massimo Bottura are Bringing a Pop-Up Italian Restaurant to Singapore

by Steph

THE SCOOP: Famed fashion house Gucci and three Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura are bringing their fab dining concept to Singapore and foodies are already foaming at the mouth to get in. Set in The Arts House, an elegant historic building on Old Parliament Lane, the pop-up restaurant is styled and named after the first Gucci Osteria Da Massimo Bottura, which opened in Florence, Italy last year.

Helming the kitchen is head chef Karime Lopez, who helped Massimo Bottura create the innovative Italian dishes on the menu. Dishes include ‘The Crunchy Part of the Lasagna’ which pays homage to everyone’s favourite part of the lasagna with crunchy pasta chips over ragu and bechamel and the Taka Bun with sweet and sour pork belly glazed with a tangy balsamic miso sauce.

The pop-up restaurant, brought to us by the Savour group, was originally planned to run from May 1 to May 26, but due to popular demand, they have extended it until June 2. You can opt for a 4-course lunch during the week, a 7-course lunch on the weekends and a 7-course dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. As you can imagine, seats are highly coveted, so reservations are essential.
