The World Health Organisation (WHO) has stated that it is very unlikely that COVID-19 can be spread through food, but both Deliveroo and Grab are taking additional precautions.
When checking out from Deliveroo, customers will be able to choose contact-free delivery. Riders will place the thermal bag with food open on the ground outside the customers door, step away one meter and then the customer can collect the food once they are notified. They’ve also added over 600 restaurants since 1 Jan 2020 so you now have even more delicious options to choose from!
When checking out from Grab, customers can drop a note to their delivery person via GrabChat to arrange to leave your order at the doorstep or at an alternate location like the Lobby of your building.
