THE SCOOP: We could not be more excited to have some quality sourdough in our lives, thanks to the newly launched Starter Lab coming at us by ways of Bali. These guys know their bread – and are sure to take over the scene with a gorgeous first outlet in Singapore conveniently located on Havelock Road.
Dare we say this place has got major Tartine vibes… but seriously, it’s raising the level of bakery concepts on our island and is definitely going to contribute to a legitimate increase in our weekly carb consumption (and we’re not even mad about it). Other sourdough favourites in Singapore include the amazing bread at Dearborn Supper Club, and of course Burnt Ends’ crunchy yet moist loaves.
