See What Some of Our Favourite Influencers Had to Say About Our Culinary Tour at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

by URBAN JOURNEY

If you’ve been following us here or on Instagram @urbanjourney then you probably know about the culinary event we held on November 27 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. For those who don’t know, we invited 10 UJ readers and 10 influencers to an exclusive event where we got to sample signature dishes and special creations at JustIN Flavours of Asia, Blossom, Sen of Japan, Punjab Grill, and Angelina.

Of course our influencers got some fab pics that they shared via their Insta accounts. Check out some of the highlights below and see what we indulged on throughout the evening. Be warned though… further scrolling might just make you want to drop everything and book a dinner at these restaurants for incredible dishes that will tantalise your taste buds.

Just thinking about this aromatically-blessed Blossom Signature Smoked Duck that I had seventy-three sky bananas ago at Blossom Restaurant (@blossomrestaurant.sg), one of the many dining destinations within the sprawling premises that is The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (@theshoppesmbs). The serving of the dish involves a dramatic lid removal which releases powerful wafts of Pu-Er tea-tinged smoke into the surrounding air, with your taste buds (and mouthly nose, if there is such a thing) able to detect much of the smokiness still locked deep within the slices of fowl. ⠀ The dish was one of my favourites from an evening spent at three different dining concepts at Marina Bay Sands, the others being casual all-day diner JustIN Flavours of Asia (for luxurious Asian-inspired bites – think Sea Urchin Har Gow and Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao) and French tearoom Angelina (for dainty sweets and their world-renown hot chocolate "L'Africain").
