Set on the 70th floor of the swank Swissotel The Stamford, SKAI is worth a trip for the views alone. The Mother’s Day set lunch is just as appealing with appetisers like the cucumber with pomelo, greens and toasted seeds and asparagus with Iberico ham and ponzu. Mains could include the tender lamb loin with smoked eggplant, broccoli and tosaka and buckwheat noodles with black cabbage, truffle and sesame.

The Yellow Pot has been earning rave reviews since it opened last year in the sleek Six Senses Duxton.
