For the uninitiated, robatayaki is a Japanese style of eating where you sit in front of a display of fresh ingredients like meats, seafood and veggies, and you simply point to what you want. The chefs will then marinate the ingredients, grill them up for you and hand the dishes over with a wooden paddle. It may not be cheap, but it’s definitely a unique dining experience.

Set in a gorgeous Art Deco building in the heart of the CBD, The Black Swan does a fresh take on European bistro classics. Tender fragrant Cantonese chicken rice is the specialty at this family owned chain of outlets, although they also offer a wide range of flavorful Chinese dishes. If you’re looking for a chill spot to grab some grub after dark, Brewerkz boasts a great location by the Singapore river that satisfies nocturnal hunger pangs with tasty bar bites like chicken wings, burgers, pizzas and chilli. Luke’s stays true to their “chop house” tag by specialising in mouthwatering prime steaks, as well as a wide selection of seafood like oysters and lobster flown in from the east coast of America. What started as a small dim sum joint in Hong Kong soon became an epicurean sensation when Tim Ho Wan was included in the Michelin Guide. Now Singaporeans can also dig into their delectable Baked Bun with BBQ Pork that has gained them fame for its fluffy outer bun and tender BBQ pork in a rich sweet and salty sauce. They have a few outlets in Singapore, but for night owls looking for a delicious dim sum fix, their location in the East is open 24 hours.

After a big night out on the town, there’s nothing more satisfying than a super stacked burger, especially if it comes from 25 Degrees.
