If you’re looking for a super sexy date night spot, then these seductive restaurants and bars are sure to impress with stunning settings, next-level cuisine, and carefully curated cocktail and wine lists (the restaurants are not ranked in any particular order).

Tamarind Hill

Tamarind Hill Restaurant Singapore You couldn’t ask for a more scenic setting than Tamarind Hill, an elegant fine-dining Thai restaurant housed in a historic colonial bungalow in the Labrador Nature Reserve. The Thai chefs here create authentic dishes from their homeland and neighbouring Burma, so you can expect vibrant dishes boasting the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, sour, and salty flavours. Be sure to try one of their signature cocktails made with house-infused gin. If you’re looking for an ambiance to escape the hustle and bustle of daily SG life, this is your spot.

Preludio

One of the new restaurants to make it to this list is Preludio. Chef Fernando Arevalo plans to rewrite the fine dining experience at Preludio with themed ‘chapters’ that inspire the decor, food, and wine. The current chapter is Monochrome, so expect an elegant black and white space and creative dishes like the Pata Negra with Iberico pork, white carrot and apple purée, charred Piennolo tomato and black basil and the Patagonian toothfish with cauliflower purée, leek and almond milk bubbles, pickled almonds, and black olive powder.

Corner House

Corner House Romantic Restaurants SingaporeGastro-botanica is the style of cuisine at Corner House, which is fitting considering this One Michelin-starred spot sits in a beautiful black and white bungalow in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Start with a drink or two in the cosy Reading Corner, then move to the Claret Room, the verandah, or the balcony for a contemporary five-star meal consisting of farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients. They also have a stellar wine list featuring over 600 labels.

Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House (The Heeren)

We’re huge fans of Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House because the food and vibes are consistently spot on. And while we love both locations, we reckon the Hereen spot is much more romantic. Tucked away on the third floor, the softly-lit space offers up intimate booths, a sleek marble bar, and big windows that overlook Orchard Road. Start with a bottle of vino, then tuck into upscale comfort food like fresh oysters, crab cakes, and thick juicy steaks. We highly recommend dining at the bar here, which also gives you a nice view of Orchard Road.

The Summerhouse

PS.Cafe Ann Siang Hill Romantic Restaurant SingaporePS.Cafe has a number of locations all over the island, but we like the Ann Siang Hill spot for its peaceful green setting and chic interiors boasting marble-topped tables, leather banquettes, and lots of natural light. This is a great spot for couples who have different tastes because the menu offers a great mix of Western and Asian fare like the ham and mushroom croque monsieur, crab and prawn laksa, and sticky BBQ ribs. Start with a drink on the outdoor patio and then head indoors for dinner. Please don’t leave without ordering the truffle fries.

Bar Cicheti

Tucked away on Jiak Chuan Road, Bar Cicheti is a cosy little spot that specialises in handmade pastas and natural wines. An archway of lights greets you as you walk in, and tables for two line the wall opposite the bar. Start with small plates to share like crunchy fried sage leaves in a tempura-like batter, then dig into heartwarming plates of pasta like the agnolotti filled with beef cheek braised for 10 hours and served in a rich fondo burno sauce.

Odette

It’s easy to see why Odette has earned not one, but three Michelin stars. The pale pastel decor is fresh and contemporary, the service is impeccable, and chef Julian Royer’s modern French cuisine makes the best of seasonal ingredients sourced from passionate growers in Europe and beyond. This is one of those places that gets filled up fast for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, so be sure to make reservations well in advance.

Caffe Fernet

What could be more romantic than sipping cocktails next to the water and sharing vibrant plates of contemporary Italian fare? Caffe Fernet is housed in a beautiful glass-enclosed space in Customs House and it has a gorgeous al fresco deck that offers views over Marina Bay. Grab a seat on the patio and sip on spritzes or a few glasses of prosecco as the sun sinks under the horizon and stars start to twinkle overhead.

Atlas

Take your date back in time to the extravagance of the Roaring Twenties at Atlas. Step inside this Art Deco bar and you find soaring ceilings, supple leather couches, and gold accents everywhere you turn. The cocktails are inspired by milestones of the 20s and feature premium spirits, bitters, cordials and fresh herbs. The cuisine is modern European with enticing bites like oyster mignonette and steak frites with bone marrow butter.

Ocean Restaurant

If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, Ocean Restaurant makes for a unique and memorable meal. Watch manta rays and tropical fish glide by the huge glass windows as you sip wine and dine on sustainable seafood at this underwater aquarium restaurant. Your meal could include freshwater mussels in beurre blanc, Fremantle octopus with harissa and padron pepper, or the Mozambique langoustines in herb butter and XO cream.
