If there’s a better way to spend a leisurely weekend afternoon in Singapore than at alavish brunchwhere the food is fabulous and the booze free-flowing, then we haven’t found it yet. The only problem is our favourite activity can get pricey withfancy brunchesoften exceeding the $200++ mark – ouch. But for those who lovefree-flow brunchesas much as we do, and are looking for a bargain to boot, here are our favourite boozy deals that fall under the $100 mark before service and tax. Pass the prosecco!

Don Ho

You can eat as healthy or as hearty as you like at Don Ho’s weekend brunch. Detox dishes include the avocado bruschetta with feta and the kabocha and kale with miso-glazed pumpkin goji berries, and red quinoa. If indulging is more your style, go for the eggs benny, bread and butter pudding or truffle mac n’ cheese. Wash it all down with a healthy smoothie or cheeky cocktail. The prices are very reasonable, so you can get your feed on without spending a mint. Best of all, it’s $48++ for free flow prosecco.

Empress

Fancy some fab scenery to go along brunch? Empress is an elegant spot located in the Asian Civilisations Museum overlooking the Singapore River and Boat Quay. On the weekends it’s all about dim sum feasts here with offerings like steamed molten egg custard buns, crackling roast pork and jasmine tea-poached pears. Vegetarians are also well-catered to with a special veggie dim sum menu. Add on an extra $38++ for some free flow prosecco.

Seeking something different than the usual Saturday brunch fare? Go Japanese with the Bottomless Brunch at Kinki. Settle in next to the graffiti-splashed walls and dig into an array of sushi, sashimi, and teriyaki dishes. We highly suggest the pickled scallop wings sushi and the Wagyu foie gras donburi. The buffet-style menu goes for $52++ per person, and you can add free-flow options like sake, shochu, or Prosecco for $35++ extra.

Latteria Mozzarella Bar offers a laid-back locale for a leisurely Italian brunch. Its popular Sunday family brunch includes up to ten different Italian culinary creations for just $48++ person or $78++ with a wine pairing. Grab a seat inside for air-conditioning or outside on the terrace and dig into goodies like imported Italian cheeses, cold cuts, artisanal pasta, fresh fish, grilled meats, and classic Italian desserts.

Pete’s Place place exudes Italian charm thanks to brick walls with wooden wine cabinets, checked tablecloths, and a solid marble bar. The Sunday brunch spread is definitely one to come hungry to, as it features a huge buffet of traditional Italian dishes like Caprese salad, squid ink gnocchi, and slow-braised beef cheeks. Brunch is $48++ with free-flow selected juices, coffee and tea. For an additional $30++ you’ll get free flow house wine, Prosecco, Tiger draft beer, and Aperol and Campari cocktails.

Vino lovers won’t want to miss the free-flow wine brunch at the stylish PS. Cafe at Ann Siang Hill. The brunch dishes are served a la carte, but for an additional $70++ you can enjoy Valdobbiadene Prosecco and red and white wines from the iconic Spanish vineyard Marques de Riscal. The robust ‘Airenzo’ Tempranillo, vibrant Rueda Verdejo white, and pale Rosado Rosé are also available.

Sinfonia Ristorante

Set in the iconic Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall, Sinfonia is a classy spot to wine and dine a weekend afternoon away. Every Saturday and Sunday, chef Simone Depalmas offers up an omakase lunch special where you get 12 contemporary Italian dishes made with whatever ingredients are fresh and in season that weekend. The brunch goes for $52++ and you can add free-flow Bottega Brut for just $40++.
